Topic: Buying shares in a private company Posted: 27/November/2007 at 23:46
I work for a private company with no borrowings in which I own 13%. I am not a director.
1. Can I make a small ‘In-specie’ contribution (less than 5% of the SMSF value) to my SMSF ?
2. Can the SMSF purchase shares in the company from unrelated, non-employee, non-director shareholders ?
3. Can the SMSF purchase shares in the company from an unrelated employee who is a director ?
