Needing your help...a learner driver has backed into our car and left a massive hole in the car from their tow ball.
We have no insurance on our car as it lasped and forgot to re insure but they do...how do we go about claiming the damage done on our car? There was no damage to their car as it was their tow ball that went straight through the driver's side door?
You get a couple of quotes and send then together with a letter of demand to the driver of the other car. The will make an insurance claim and and send these to their company who will contact you.
Keep a copy of everything you send or receive, if the insurance company rings you insist that they communicate by mail.
